What do you think about the combination of sports and fasting?

Time management as well as the person as an individual play a very important role in this combination. Every person is different, physically as well as their daily routine. One should definitely make a plan: ``When is the best time for me to fast?`` and ``When is the best time for me to exercise?`` If I can answer these two questions and make a schedule that allows this combination stress-free, then it can bring health benefits.

Do you fast yourself? If so, which method do you prefer?

I fast about 2-3 times a week. I use the 16/8 interval fasting method. This method works best for me because my work hours, sleep period and food intake window are well regulated.

What needs to be taken into account when combining fasting and exercise?

Start the fasting period a few hours before going to bed, then most of the fasting time is already covered by the evening and sleep. It is very important to continue to drink liquids such as tea or water during the fasting period in the morning. Water is essential for life. Furthermore, choose the food intake in such a way that you can deliver a good performance during your sports session.
